Sabbath School

We have classes for Children and for Adults.

Children’s Sabbath School Classes

Our Children’s Sabbath School Classes are designed for various age groups. However, we are flexible if there is a need for a child of a different age to attend a different class than the one that is their age group. Parents & Guardians are welcome to attend in the children’s classes with their child.

Some of our Children’s Sabbath School Classes may have special activities available for those that arrive between 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Check with the individual class teacher for details.

Cradle Roll
Cradle Roll is for ages 1 week to 4 years old and meets from 9:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m. There is always a theme for all four seasons to teach the children that Jesus created the world. Themes include “We like to go the farm,” “I am a helper,” “Jesus as a child,” “The birth of Christ,” and “The Ocean.” We try to have at least fifteen songs with something for the children to do with each one. We also tell a Bible story and have children recite their memory verses. By the time children are four years old, they have gone through the whole Bible four times. Parents or Guardians should plan to attend this class with their child.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is for ages 4-7 and meets from 9:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m. Our mission is to encourage and develop a deep love for God so that children will trust and follow Him. We lead the children through many stories in the Bible. We use songs, felts, and hands-on activities to keep the attention and make fun this precious learning time.

Primary
Primary is designed for ages 7-9 years and meets from 9:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m. Children are encouraged to be early. There are mission stories, nature stories, prayer, and the Bible lesson. Children are encouraged to learn the memory verse and study the lesson during the week so they can participate. The goal is to present Jesus in such a way that children want to have a relationship with Him.

Juniors
Juniors is for children in grades 5-7 or ages 10-13. It meets from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 am. We seek to introduce our children to Jesus as their lifelong friend. We strive to show how the Bible and the doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist Church tell us about Jesus. Our program consists of singing, prayer, and sharing time; a character-building story or feature; lesson study; and a Bible-based game or drill.

Adult Sabbath School Classes

We have one class that meets in the Sanctuary, starting at 9:15 with Song Service.  Our Adult Sabbath School Classes use the Seventh-day Adventist Adult Sabbath School Quarterly. The Quarterly is available free online at Sabbath School Net. If you have a smartphone, you should be able to download the current Adventist Sabbath School Quarterly free via an app. Check with your app store.
